When you register for a Sitch App account, we collect your phone number, country, age, expressed gender, and sexual preference. We also ask that you provide the Sitch App access to your photos on your device so that you can use certain features in the Sitch App, such as uploading photos of conversations that you would like the Sitch App to review.

The Sitch App may also allow you to link your Sitch App account with your social networking or other third-party service account. By granting us access to your social networking or other third-party service account, we may access and store any information data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, tags and/or other materials that you have provided to and stored in your linked account so that it is available on and through your Sitch App account. Depending on the accounts you choose to link and subject to the privacy settings that you have set in those accounts, personal information that you post to your linked accounts may be available on and through your Sitch App account.

When you use our Chatbot, we collect any information data, text, photographs, graphics, video, messages, and/or other materials that you provide to us when you use our Chatbot.

When you communicate with other Sitch App users, such as when you create a poll, you may provide content and information such as screenshots of conversations that you would like other users’ thoughts and advice on. Keep in mind that Sitch App users that you communicate with may, in some cases, be able to save that content or copy it outside of the Sitch App, so do not share content that you would not want another Sitch App user to save or share.

The Sitch App permits you to share or upload information, data, text, software, music, sound, screenshots, photographs, graphics, video, messages, tags and/or other materials. You may also upload communications that you’ve had with third parties, including friends, acquaintances, and romantic partners. Certain features in the Sitch App may allow you to publicly post screenshots of conversations and other content. While we take steps to redact any personal information contained in such screenshots and other content, we cannot guarantee that all personal information will be fully redacted, so do not publicly post any screenshots or other content that you do not wish to be made public. Please note, do not provide any information about or relating to any third-party that you do not have permission to provide to us.

In the normal course of using the Service, you may also provide us with additional information about yourself and your relationships. These could be facts about you, personal information about your preferences and interests, and facts about others in your life.

We collect information when you communicate with us. The specific types of information we collect will depend on the forum in which you communicate with us. For example, if you send us an email, we will collect your email address and the content of your email. You may also participate in surveys and questionnaires, in which case, we collect the any information that you provide to us in response.

The Service may access information from your device’s phonebook to invite your contacts to use the SitchSitch App, however, we do not store this information.

If we have collected your information through our “Careers” page in response to a job opening, you are giving us permission to use and retain your information for the purpose of evaluating your application for employment consideration for the specific position that you applied to, as well as other roles at Unusual. This information may be processed and stored by a third-party talent tracking solution provider as well as with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work relating to the recruitment process on our behalf.


In general, we use personal information that we collect from you to provide our Service, operate our business, and provide information that you request from us. This includes the following uses and purposes:

Other Users

Many features on the Sitch App are private but you may post personal information to our Public Feed. Some information, like your age and gender, but not your phone number, may be visible and displayed to other users and to the public.

You may also use features in the Services that enable multiple users to participate and interact with each other such as by creating polls that you and other users can participate it. As noted earlier, users that you interact with may, in some cases, be able to save that content or copy it outside of the Services, so do not share content that you would not want another user to save or share.

Some of the information you send through or save within our Service may be public content that is accessible to everyone (such as our Public Feed).

Service Providers

We use third parties to assist us with operating our business and providing our Service, such as our technology vendors that help us maintain our Service, partners that assist us with our marketing and communication, and service providers that help us to prevent and detect fraud. These service providers will have access to your information in order to provide their services to us.


Our Chatbot leverages certain artificial intelligence and deep learning platforms, algorithms, tools and models (“AI Services”) to collect, analyze, and respond to user prompts and requests with automated advice. When you use the Chatbot, we may share any content or other information you provide to the Chatbot with the AI Services in order to complete your request.

As Directed By You and With Your Consent

Except as otherwise provided in this Policy, we share information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Unusual only at your direction or when we have your consent to do so.

We may share information about you as part of a merger or acquisition. Deleting Your Information or Your Account

Sitch App users can delete certain of their information directly in the Sitch App, and users can delete their account through the Sitch App. You may also request deletion of your account in the Sitch App by contacting us at Please note that in some cases we may be prohibited from deleting certain information (we will let you know in those situations), and some information may remain in our records after your deletion of such information from your account. We may use any aggregated or de-identified data derived from or incorporating your information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.


You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time by following the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any such communication. Most promotional communications will also offer recipients choices about receiving additional messages.

Sitch App and Other Sitch App Users

You may modify certain settings to control which Sitch App users may interact with you, such as blocking certain users from interacting with you. You may also delete any post that you create in the Sitch App at any time.


We are based in the United States, and our Service is hosted there. If you are using our Service from another country, the laws governing our collection and use of information may be different from the laws of your country. If you decide to use our Service, or share your information with us, you are agreeing to be governed by the laws of the United States, and agree to the transfer of your information to the United States.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Generally, we keep your information for as long as you tell us to, and otherwise as long as we need it to provide our Service, or as required by law.
