We don’t believe in endless waiting. If you don’t use at least one of your setups within 6 months, you’ll get your money back. Because the only thing worse than a bad date is no date at all.
You’re eligible for a full refund if you have been an active user of the platform (marked as “available for Setups” in Settings) and you respond consistently to your matchmaker about the people to whom we want to introduce you.
Generally, one of the following need to apply:
No setups have been used in 6 months: If your matchmaker doesn’t set you up in a group chat with another member within six (6) months of joining.
You move: If you move to a location where Sitch is not live and will not be live in the next six months.
Other limited circumstances: Refunds may be available in other limited circumstances, including a short statutory cancellation period after joining for residents of certain states as set out in the Terms of Use.
When refunds don’t apply:
Simply deactivating your account.
If you have not been “available for a Setup” in Settings for an extended period of time.
Other than during any statutory cancellation period (which may apply in your State), simply changing your mind or deciding dating isn’t for you.
Having expectations that are unreasonable in terms of the speed or certainty of finding a partner.
Breaching our Terms of Use or engaging in inappropriate behavior on the app.
Successfully finding a partner (congrats - that’s the goal!). You may transfer your credits to a friend who needs to get set up. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash.
