By using Sitch, you agree to these guidelines, which set clear expectations for behavior both on and off the app.
Respect Privacy and Boundaries Respect each other’s privacy and boundaries. Avoid sharing explicit or suggestive content on your profile. In private conversations, ensure all communication is consensual. Remember, everyone’s comfort level is different, and respecting consent is essential.
Protect Your Personal Information For your safety, keep personal details like contact information private on your profile. Don’t request personal or financial details from others. Do not share financial information. Do not send money to other users.
Keep Content Positive and Safe Sitch is a space for positivity and respect. We do not allow content promoting violence, harm, or hatred toward any individual or group. This includes prohibiting any violent, graphic, or distressing images or language.
Avoid Commercial and Promotional Activity Sitch is designed to be a means of meeting people in a deeper way in your community. It’s not a platform for commercial promotions. Avoid using Sitch to advertise products, services, social media profiles, or fundraising campaigns. Keeping interactions authentic is key to building genuine connections.
Be Authentic and Transparent Use your real name and share genuine photos. Do not impersonate others or create fake profiles, as this detracts from the trust within the community.
Engage with Respect and Kindness Respectful communication is crucial. Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or discrimination based on identity factors such as race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation are not allowed. Let respect guide all your interactions.
Lead with Empathy and Care Any act of harm, whether physical, emotional, or digital, will not be tolerated. If someone’s behavior has negatively impacted you, please take care of yourself and report it to us for support and further action if needed.
Adults Only You must be 18 years or older to use Sitch. Please avoid uploading images involving minors, and do not post pictures of children.
Follow the Law Any content promoting or facilitating illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes the buying or selling of illegal goods, regulated substances, or harmful activities. We do not tolerate any form of exploitation or trafficking.
One Account per Person Each individual should maintain a single account, which cannot be shared or transferred to others.
Honor Intellectual Property and Privacy Share only content you own, and respect others’ privacy by not posting private messages or images without consent. Intellectual property rights are to be respected; do not share copyrighted or trademarked content without permission.
Communicate Honestly and Avoid Deceptive Behavior Avoid spreading false information or engaging in spam, scams, or manipulative tactics. Sitch is not a place for deceptive content, spam, or unwanted promotional messages.
Stay Active and Engaged Check your messages regularly, so we can connect you with others and continue to include you in our matching algorithms. If you don’t use the app occasionally, it makes it hard to help you go on great dates, and we may have to remove you from the platform!
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it confidentially in the app, or to [email protected]. All reports are reviewed to ensure we uphold our standards and keep Sitch a safe environment.
Violating these guidelines may result in a warning, suspension, or account termination, depending on the severity of the issue. Serious or repeated offenses may lead to a permanent ban, and we reserve the right to take action on concerning behavior even if it occurs off the platform.
We are committed to protecting our users and fostering a safe space. We will not hesitate to take action to remove harmful content or restrict user access when necessary, especially if behavior poses a threat to the safety and wellbeing of our community members.
